I chained 13 then single crochet in 2nd chain from hook for 12 sc. They will curl on their own.
On the last sc from the first row,* chain 13 and repeat 11 sc, slip stitch into the first group*. From there chain 13 and repeat from **. Do this for as full as you want the top to be. I had a group of 5.
Finish off and sew onto the top of the carrot top.
Finishing
Sew the button on the front aligning the button with the button. Sew the carrot top to the base in the back. Attaching with 6 or 7 whip stitches. Secure threads and finish.
What a sweet surprise for those Easter baskets.
