So You Want To Be An Animator?

So...You want to be an Animator?   " Why yes! Yes I do. What was the driving force for your decision? "Well let's see if I can pinpoint the exact moment. Oh! now I remember. I've always been fascinated with animation but rather than creating it I was more consumed with watching it. My father was a graphic designer and was amazed at the animation of the Smurfs cartoon. My son created stop-motion which blew my mind. My daughter is now involved with creating DIY videos. Each of them are a true inspiration for me. Recently, I applied for a position to create closed caption for videos. The application process required me to caption three different videos. Each more complex than the last. Needless to say, I didn't pass the application process. Their words "Please do not apply again". OUCH! The next morning, still stinging from their response, I had coffee in hand and thought about what I had learned. What could I do with this information. ...

The Fly & The Frog

The Fly & The Frog Well, you've guessed it! There's always an abundance of flies here around the barnyard. So I came up with this mutant frog (only in my wildest dreams remembering the movie "Frogs") where we have one here wiping out the fly population. It's been hot and sticky this summer just as the flies stick to the frog's tongue. Share & Enjoy

Along the Way

Along the way Along the way we saw this family of armadillo. It was terribly hot that day. I remember the sweat beading off my face while planting watermelon. Then a sudden downpour of  rain came from no where. We ran to the umbrella of the giant oak tree near by for shelter. The rain stopped as quick as it came. Sun breaking along the horizon we walked back to the house when I looked toward the woods. That's when we saw them. A family of armadillo.

Julinka from Jumar

Julinka is from Jumar the planet of the Green Moons.  I had created a sample character drawing awhile back. The drawing sat in my stack of papers for some time. I thought it was time to bring out the character and do something with it. I then created "Julinka". I gave her a jeweled nose and pads on her hands to imitate jewels. The background for Julinka was computer generated. I thought it would be neat to have a jeweled appearance as well. Now it's time to create a story around "Julinka from Jumar-the planet of the Green Moons".

What's a Tukie

Tukie? Could this be a Tukie? I'm not sure but it was fun trying to come up with something original for a freelance job. The weather here in Georgia has just been plain old "hot". Too hot to work in the garden-no rain and lots of weeds. Trying to just keep the plants watered in getting past this hot spell. I've joined every freelance site I could find . Elance.com , ifreelance.com , and guru.com . I've created a store at zazzle.com . Zazzle is fun and I love the new products for the signature phone covers and ipads, skateboards too. Wished I had done that when my boys were into skateb oarding years ago. These are the things I've done to keep myself being creative on a daily level. Then I go on to think what more can I do? Well, as this blog is titled "Bongo Creative-Traveling with the Divine Creative Spirit", now it's time to allow the Spirit to move within me. Allow the Spirit to stir it up. To surrender, to release my control of how ev...
