Polymer Clay Sculpted Crochet Hooks

Remember the days when you used to play with Play-Doh? All those crazy things you used to make. Rediscover the fun making sculpted crochet handles. They're not only beautiful they're also functional, taking the "tired" out of aching hands and letting you do what you love to do "crochet".  This is a great video to help you get started. Use oven-bake clay and aluminum hooks.  Happy Creating!

Sara Snail and Her Blue Shroom-Crochet Pattern

How do you know if a snail is a boy or a girl? I'm not sure but when you meet this little snail with a flower on her head I immediately thought-she's too cute to be a boy. I love creating Amigurumi. These little characters are so much fun. You can place them in different settings in your home and each time a new story emerges. The crochet pattern can be found here .

Cactus Amigurumi- Free Pattern

This is my mini crocheted cactus with a budding yellow flower. I think it's absolutely the sweetest and as far as natural plants go-I'm really not a cactus fan. But when it comes to crocheting, I think it's just divine. I had so much fun creating this little beauty.  For my little cactus I used a shot glass for the pot then hot glued natural stones. To secure the cactus in place I inserted toothpicks into the base of the cactus and glued them also. I used pearlized beads along the spines of the cactus as well. The free pattern link is below. Lucky and His Pot-O-Gold

I love having the Freedom to Create. I've recently found a new path to creating Amigurumi after being disconnected from painting for some time. I have been a crocheter for some 40 years and just recently was turned on to this style of crocheting. This is Lucky and His Pot-O-Gold. He was so much fun to create. The pattern can be found in my Etsy shop .
